In 2008, Candace Jarkow, the founder of Maverick Events, was awarded the prestigious 5 Star Diamond Award from the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences for her work with the Eric Trump Foundation in conjunction with their golf tournament at the Trump National Golf Club in Westchester, New York.
